Every Child Can Learn

Every student deserves an approach that works for them. That’s why we need to adapt to each learner’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Success starts with understanding.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here!
If your child is struggling with reading, attention, memory, or learning in general, you’re in the right place. I offer one-on-one online tutoring that specializes in structured literacy intervention using the Barton Reading & Spelling System (for ages 5 through adult), pre-reading intervention utilizing the Foundation in Sounds program, as well as cognitive development training through the Equipping Minds program (for all ages). These research-based approaches are designed to support learners with dyslexia, ADHD, working memory challenges, slow processing speed, and even traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
Whether you’re looking for help building reading skills or strengthening the brain’s ability to learn, I’m here to help every step of the way!
Why Early Intervention Matters
Learning struggles don’t go away with time—they often grow with the demands of school. The earlier a child receives targeted support, the easier it is to build strong foundational skills and prevent frustration, low self-esteem, and academic delays. Early intervention gives the brain a chance to form new, efficient pathways for reading, attention, and memory. With the right tools in place early on, students gain not only academic skills but also the confidence and independence they need to thrive for years to come.
Literacy Intervention
Perfect for students struggling with reading, spelling, and writing—especially those with dyslexia.
Using the Barton Reading & Spelling System, this structured literacy program is designed to help students who need explicit, step-by-step instruction in phonics, decoding, and fluency. It’s ideal for learners with dyslexia or other reading difficulties, and is effective for students ages 5 through adult.
Cognitive Development
Strengthen the brain’s ability to learn, focus, and retain information.
Equipping Minds is a research-based program that improves cognitive functions like working memory, processing speed, attention, and reasoning. This training is ideal for students of all ages—including those with ADHD, TBI, or general learning struggles—who need more than academic tutoring.
Pre-Reading Intervention
Perfect for students who are not yet ready for formal reading instruction—especially young learners or those with dyslexia and other language-based learning challenges.
Using the Foundation in Sounds program, this step-by-step, multisensory approach builds the auditory discrimination, memory, and sequencing skills students need before moving into structured literacy programs like Barton. It’s designed to strengthen phonemic awareness and prepare students for long-term reading and spelling success.
